Phyliss (104 years old ) comes for tea

December 13, 2016

As part of our alternative curriculum we are developing links with The Horrill Centre, We have students who volunteer with groups weekly there. Friday 9th December we held tea and cakes with guests from the Centre. Students from year 9 sang Christmas songs and the guests even had a dance… no mean feat when you are a 104 years of age! Our guests shared stories of their childhood Christmases with our students.

We are planning more events with the centre which provide valuable experiences for both our students and their clients.
