HUB club has restarted after school on a Wednesday and in this half term attendees are trying wheelchair basketball. A mixture a students from various different year groups have teamed up with Clayhill School to participate in this all action sport which was key to the Rio Paralympics.
Students have been learning how to move with the ball, pass effectively, work as a team and score points. This has all built into small sided matches where they need to out whit their opponents. This is all being done whilst trying to get to grips with moving in a wheelchair.
HUB Club is unique to Noadswood as it allows students who might otherwise struggle to access sport. It allows them the opportunity to try out new sports and build on key skills.
