It has become part of Noadswood’s tradition to have a Leavers’ Prom for Yr11 pupils at the end of their GCSE exams. We are delighted to be able to write to you with details of the Prom for the Class of 2021.

The cost of the evening will be £42.00 per head, which will include entertainment, a two course (sit down) meal with soft drinks and a photographic memento.

Students will be provided with a soft drink alongside their meal. Additional soft drinks can be purchased from the bar at an approximate cost of £2.00 - £3.00. The venue have advised that they are operating a cashless system only so students will need to bring a debit card should they wish to purchase additional drinks.

There are restrictions from the Beaulieu estate as to the type and size of the vehicles pupils can arrive in. Please consider this when planning any transport for arrival to the Prom.

Due to site regulations, the following modes of transportation cannot be accepted:

  • Helicopters
  • Tanks / Armoured Vehicles
  • Horse & Carriage / Cart

Please note that due to residents on site, there is a noise management plan in place so the use of sirens or loud PA and excessive noise in general is NOT permitted by the Beaulieu Estate.

The Prom is always a very popular and enjoyable occasion and one of the last school events that your child will be involved in. In order to ensure that the evening runs smoothly for all invited, we reserve the right to refuse / withdraw places if an individual’s attitude or behaviour becomes a cause for concern prior to the event.

Payment is via ScoPay on-line. A two part payment plan has been set up for you to pay this way and will be available from tomorrow, Thursday 27 May 2021.

  • A first payment of £25 is due by 5.00pm on Friday 4th June 2021
  • A remaining balance payment of £17 is to be paid by 5.00pm on Monday 14th June 2021
  • Alternatively, you are able to make both payments at the same time by selecting both payments by 5.00pm on Monday 14th June 2021

After the closing date you will receive, via ePraise, a form which asks for updates on any dietary and medical needs for your child. Further details of the menu will also be sent at this time.

Whilst we have done our absolute best to reduce the cost of the ticket price, we are very aware that some families have been facing financial difficulties as a result of the pandemic. If your child is in receipt of Pupil Premium, these funds may be used to purchase a ticket. If you wish this to be the case, please advise We may also be able to assist students who are not in receipt of Pupil Premium, with some funding towards the ticket cost. If you are suffering financial hardship that will prevent your child from attending and want to explore this option, please also advise (If there are any families who wish to donate to a hardship fund via the PSA, details of how to do so will follow separately in the next few days.)

The venue have also requested that we inform all students and parents/carers that upon arrival, all bags will be searched. Any student who refuses this will be denied entry.

Covid planning: should there be any changes to the planned lifting of restrictions due on 21 June, we may need to cancel this event. In the event of cancellation, a full refund of the ticket price will be issued. We will not be able to offer any refunds towards clothes, transport or other items that may have been booked or purchased.
