If your child has been placed at Redwood via Hampshire SEN and is named on their EHCP, you should have received a 'Welcome email' from Chris West, Lead of Redwood.
Mr West will be in touch with new families to Redwood after Easter to start making plans for your child's transition. This will include a meeting with yourselves and key staff from your child's current school, so that we can start to build your child's provision from September and create a social story to support transition.
For new Redwood pupils, their enhanced transition usually starts after May half term so by the Moving up days in July, pupils have already become familiar of their new environment and all the pupils and staff in the provision. All details will be discussed and agreed during the planning meeting.
